RVR Launches Capital Campaign for a Brighter Future |

In December 2006, River Valley Riders launched a Capital Campaign to raise funds to purchase land in the St. Croix River Valley and to build an indoor riding arena. This land will be the new home for RVR for years to come. The goal is to raise $100,000.00 to begin the purchase process and building campaign. On June 18, 2008 the goal was met and grants have been approved for an additional $55,000.00 pending acquisition of land! River Valley Riders is actively searching for property and has been approved for financing to assist with the purchase.
"This is the next step for RVR" Joan Berg, Executive Director for RVR. "It has always been a dream of RVR to have an arena and stable area just for RVR. With this land and buildings, we can serve more clients (of which there is a constant waiting-list), serve them year around, and provide the community a first class riding facility to mentally and physically challenged children and adults.”
